“واحد حفاظت خلق”، شاخه نظامی حزب اتحاد دموکراتیک خلق کرد، یکی از گروههای نظامی است که در سوریه علیه داعش میجنگد.
به گزارش فرادید، واحد حفاظت خلق یکی از گروههای مسلحی است که پس از درگیریهای سال ۲۰۰۴ در “قامشلی” سوریه تشکیل شد و سال گذشته با شروع حملات داعش به مناطق کردنشین سوریه و عراق کردها را از سراسر جهان علیه نیروهای تروریستی بسیج کرد.
از سال گذشته و به دنبال فراخوان حزب اتحاد دموکراتیک کرد، کردهای عراق، سوریه و ترکیه به صورت داوطلبانه به این گروه پیوستند تا پس از گذراندن دورههای آموزش نظامی به مناطق عملیاتی اعزام شوند؛ از دسامبر ۲۰۱۲، این گروه شامل ۸تیپ نظامی است که در عفرین، قامشلی، کوبانی و سریکانی در حال عملیات هستند.
گفته میشود در میان داوطلبان مردان و زنان غیر کرد از استرالیا، امریکا و اروپا نیز حضوردارند که برای نبرد با داعش با کردها همکاری میکنند. این گروه نظامی نقش اصلی را در بازپس گیری کوبانی از داعش و بیرون راندن آنها از نقاط کردنشین سوریه داشته است.
در این میان زنان داوطلب کرد بخش قابل توجهی از نیروهای واحد حفاظت خلق را تشکیل میدهند که معمولا از سنین ۱۸ تا ۲۴ تشکیل شدهاند. دختران زیر ۱۸ سال معمولا کارهای پشتیبانی و خدمات در پشت جبهه را انجام میدهند و بقیه پس از طی مراحل آموزشی به جبهه فرستاده میشوند. بیشتر زنان و دختران داوطلب، کسانی هستند که خانه و خانوادهشان را در حملات داعش از دست دادهاند و پس از آن برای مبارزه با تروریست ها به پادگان کردها آمدهاند. “علی ارکادی” عکاس و فوتوژورنالیست اهل “خانقین” که از عکاسان فعال در وقایع سوریه و عراق است با سفر به یکی از این پادگانهای نظامی واحد زنان نیروهای حفاظت خلق را به تصویر کشید است.
